Rockies Imploding?

It's a long night over here, working with computer programmers on the other side of the globe.

I just tuned in to the Giants v Rockies game to watch Franklin Morales turn into Andy Pratt.

The Rockies are having a dreadful 9th inning, and the last playoff spot may be up for grabs at this moment.

If anyone is awake right now, tune in to ESPN. (You may want to have the game on MUTE.)

Update: Rafael Betancourt came in and took care of business for the Rocks. He first induced a tailor made 6-4-3 double play ball, but Clint Barmes decided not to catch the throw from Troy Tulowitzki... for a Troy Tulowitzki error... Hmmm. This made the score 4-2 Rockies, and after the pinch runner, blog favorite Eugenio Velez, stole second base, the tying runs were in scoring position. Betancourt settled down by getting Edgar Renteria to pop out, Randy Winn hit a meaningless RBI groundout, and Nate Schierholtz struck out swinging.

  1. How about a shout out for Tommy Manzella of Tulane fame. Finally made it to the show and got a hit in his first at bat. Rumor has it that he might be Adam Everett 2.0
